DOWN TIME?

We’ve been almost a whole week, and the show’s going on. Although we don’t see each other much outside of family dinners on Sunday, we both seem to be on the same page with what we want to get out of our short time home, and that’s fitness. For Dan, it’s about preventing another lower back injury, and for me it’s about core strength, flexibility, and pretty much all round fitness! Even a day off ends up to be at least swimming. This past week we have been selected for the senior national team! We’re really happy to reach our goals, and they only put two boats instead of four on the team this year, so it’s a good thing we did very well in Miami, but our eyes and appetites are much bigger. Today is biking and chin-up/pulling exercises followed by a mean core workout and some physio ball standing, which is really fun, but that thing can wipeout! Tonight, we have to complete the accounts for Miami, and track down all of the people who haven’t paid for the shipping from AUS-UK, because we need to book some of the Europe circuit logistics asap.
